CALTAF Track and Field

 

What a weekend!!!

The Cheetahs had a FANTASTIC 2 days at the 2016 CALTAF Classic!!

Our athletes went out and competed so well; lots of personal bests were set and a few meet records were smashed! Siri is still on Cloud 9 from how well the Throws went. The 600m races to end the weekend were a clinic in distance running.….Tatiana (Tyke) 2:09, Wyatt & Ethan (Tyke) battling to the finish and being rewarded with a 2:07 and 2:08, Alexi’s (Pee Wee)solo 2:08, Sydney (Pee Wee) leading the charge with her 2:08 and finally Nolan and Roenen (Pee Wee) – sub 2:00!!! I am so proud of everyone…you could see the fire in everyone’s eyes as they went out and competed to the best of their abilities.

Outstanding Cheetahs at the 2016 CALTAF Classic

The Tyke Girls division was a very close battle for the top points. Tehya S edged Gracie L by 1 point, 45.50 – 44.50

Tyke Boys – Wyatt W with 55 points

Pee Wee Girls – Marissa T with 36.50 points

The Pee Wee Boys also had a very close battle for the top points earner. Nolan C was our overall points winner for the weekend with 36.50 points to Joshua R with 34 points.
