Congratulations to Lisa, who competed in the 100m at the Edmonton International Track Classic on Saturday. Lisa received an invitation to compete at the Classic based on her performance at Hershey Provincials, where she placed 2nd of twenty-eight athletes. On Saturday, Lisa won the 100m competition, placing 1st of six athletes in a personal best time of 13.92s – an outstanding time for a first-year bantam. Well done Lisa!
Lisa was in good company at this meet, competing amongst the likes of Canadian Olympians Angela Whyte and Jessica Zelinka, and US Olympians Lolo Jones and LaShauntea Moore. Lisa now owns a very valuable pair of spikes! J
Well done Lisa! Congratulations!
