New Balance #2 – May 28, 2017 – CALTAF Track and Field

Today we had some strong performances and blazing ones!

Sarah F ran a fantastic 30.10 for the 200mH to start the day off. Hanna’s 19.82 in the 150m was very nice quickly followed by Jordan’s 17.72. The Ladies in the Long Jump had quite the competition – Emiley B 4.87m, Sarah F 4.80m and Ally C in her first meet in Caltaf colors with a 4.78m. Eden B showing her incredible range from the Steeplechase to the Field threw 21.22m in the Discus and 9.69m in the Shot Put. Cam K has been throwing further and further with each meet and today he threw 10.13m in the Shot Put.

The race of the day turned out to be the Ladies 300m; 5 ladies set a personal best. Congratulations to Ella C (41.76), Elizabeth V (42.40), Ally C (43.01) and Hanna N (43.19) all besting the Legion standard of 43.50.
