The point totals after the first two New Balance meets are not yet out. As soon as they are posted, I will forward them to you so that you may see if you are in medal contention.

At school zone meets this week, Hannah placed 2nd in the juvenile 400m, with a PB time of 1:05.25s. She was also 3rd in the 800m and 3rd in the 3000m. At the end of a long day, Hannah also ran the anchor for her school’s 4x400m relay team, running what I am certain was another PB to assure her team of the silver medal.  At the same meet, Sam won all of his events to capture the overall gold medal for juvenile boys. Sam won the 100m in a PB time of 11.0s, which beat the meet record of 11.14s. He also finished 1st in the 200m in a PB time of 23.24s. Finally, Sam ran an amazing last leg for his 4x100m relay team, destroying the 20m lead that the 2nd place finishers had established. Well done Hannah and Sam!
