Congratulations to CALTAF athletes Madelaine Yee (JD), Dana Gerliz (JD), Matthew Schalm (PD), Emily Wilson-Bodnar (ND), Siri Svensson (PD) and Antha Dietrich-Henderson (PD), who have been named to Team Alberta, which will represent the province at the Western Canadian Midget and Youth Championships in Regina next month. Antha will compete in long jump and triple jump, Siri in shot put and discus, Dana in discus and javelin, Matthew in shot put, discus, hammer throw and javelin, Emily in 80m hurdles, 200m hurdles and high jump and Madelaine in shot put, discus, and hammer throw. Well done athletes!
Team Alberta athletes: Please note that the team fee of $450 must be sent to Athletics Alberta by courier (because of the mail strike) ASAP. Your place on the team is not secure until that cheque has been received by AA.
