CALTAF was well represented at the 2016 Alberta Summer Games in Leduc.
Athletes: Oren Bachand, Erika Binder, Cole Dunlop, Rebecca Elliot, Emma Hubbard, Josiah Davis, Liam Kramer, Haylie Leote, Kylie Morrison, Liam Murray, Rathaine Randle, Maddie Thirnbeck, Adeem Vasanji, Gabrielle Wesolowski and Jack Wesolowski
Coaches: Samantha Read, Siri Svensson, Tara Kerr, Matt Shaw and Juerg Meister.
Zone 3 had a fantastic competition across all sports – 144 Gold medals, 65 Silver medals and 38 Bronze medals with Athletics contributing with 15 Gold medals, 16 Silver medals and 7 Bronze medals to that total.
Calgary won the Ministers Cup – Zone showing the greatest improvement from the previous games and the Alberta Cup – Zone achieving the most medal points for all sports.
Emma was selected by the 2016 ASG Committee to receive these two awards on behalf of all Zone 3 athletes.
