Paul Walsh and his school, the Airdrie Koinonia Christian School, are featured in the The Airdrie Echo newspaper. Airdrie Koinonia Christian School Eagles were selected as the Alberta boys’ representative to compete in the second-annual Nike High School Grand Prix in Toronto May 9-12, 2013.
Paul Walsh, a 16-year-old Grade 10 student, is competing in the 100-metre, long jump and high jump. The prospect of going to Toronto spurred him and de Groot to join the CALTAF club in Calgary to train on their own.
