Caltaf at Canada West Championships

Caltaf athletes Isaac Rynn, Gloria Kanuka, Gareth Hadfield and Madison Theriault represented the University of Calgary Dinos at the Canada West Track & Field championship meet in Winnipeg.

It was the first time both Isaac and Gareth competed at the CW meet.

Madison lead the way with impressive runs in the 1000 where he won a bronze in 2:29.28. He placed 4th in the 1500 in 3:57.55 and helped the Dino men win the 4×800 for the first time in memory. He will be headeed off to Sherbrooke, PQ for the CIS championships in two weeks.

Gloria placed 9th in the 600 in a pb of 1:37.82, 6th in the 1000 in a pb of 2:57.39. These points from Gloria help the Dino women win the Canada West title.

Isaac placed 17th in the 300 in 36.92 and 12th in the 60m in 7.21.

Gareth placed 14th in the 1500 and ran a 5 second pb in the 3000 and placed 9th in 8:45.20
