The JD coaches and CALTAF Board would like to offer our heartiest congratulations to JD athletes Kamila Olguin and Mehrdad Shokoohi, who have been nominated to receive a 2013 Athletics Alberta Award. Both athletes have been nominated in the midget (1998/1999) age category. This is an outstanding achievement, especially given that both athletes are 1999/first-year midgets, and that only three midget women and four midget men from all over the province have been nominated. Well done Kamila and Mehrdad!
The winners will be announced at the Athletics Alberta 2013 Awards Gala, which will be held in Edmonton on Saturday 8th February. Full details of the Awards Night may be viewed here.
