The JD athletes did a fantastic job of representing CALTAF and Team Alberta at the Legion Nationals in Cape Breton.
Congratulations to Tyler on an outstanding weekend. 2 Gold medals, a 193 point personal best, and a Championship Record! Tyler is the 2019 U16 Legion National Champion in the Pentathlon. He sealed his victory with a Championship Record run in the 1000m of 2:51.62 beating the previous mark set last year in Brandon. Tyler was also a member of the Gold medal 4x100m relay for Team Alberta.
Sarah battled to capture the Bronze medal in the Pentathlon. With Jaya and the rest of her Team Alberta teammates, Sarah won the Bronze medal in the Sprint Medley Relay.
In some fine championship running James set a 13 sec personal best in the Steeplechase and Amelia improved her Pentathlon score by 12 points.
