CALTAF Track and Field

The Cheetahs had a great meet with many athletes setting personal bests  – Ty (Ball Throw), Nolan (Shot Put), Georgia (60m) and Josh (60m and 600m).  Our remaining 12 athletes either came very close to their personal bests or set some excellent marks to break in the future.

• Ty W won the Ball Throw with a huge throw of 32.32m, a personal best by 3m. He also placed 3^rd in the Shot Put  (7.00m) and 13^th in the Standing Long Jump (1.53m)
• Malcolm B placed 6^th in the 60m (9.81), 6^th 600m (2:01.74) and 7^th Long Jump (3.41m)
•  Nicholas H was 9^th Standing Long Jump (1.67m), 11^th Ball Throw (24.01m) and 16^th 60m (10.46)
•  Nolan G was 11^th Shot Put (5.90m) and 15^th Long Jump (3.15m)
•  Kai C 18^th Shot Put (3.76m) and 20^th Long Jump (2.07m)
•  Kjirsti S 31^st Long Jump (2.99m) and 29^th 80m (13.04)
•  Zoe L 23^rd Discus (12.05m), 27^th 80m Hurdles (21.66) and 27^th 800m (3:13.57)
•  Georgia C 20^th Ball Throw (11.70m), 4^th Standing Long Jump (1.59m), and 6^th 60m (9.98)
•  Julia H 11^th Ball Throw (15.63m), 9^th Standing Long Jump (1.55m), 30^th 60m (14.59)
•  Maya L 12th Standing Long Jump (.95m) and 20^th 60m (10.94)
•  Karen F placed 24^th Shot Put (2.90m), 23^rd Long Jump 2.35m), 25^th 60m (11.55) and 13^th 600m (2:25.37)
•  Naomi W was 30^th Standing Long Jump (.83m), 25^th Long Jump (2.07m) and 22^nd 600m (2:40,41)
•  Taryn S 24^th Long Jump (2.07m), 25^th Ball Throw (9.24m), 26^th Standing Long Jump (1.00m) and 27^th 60m (12.07)
•  Ella C, Sable B and Josh R competed in all 6 events in the Peewee division over the two days.
•  Ella C 4^th in the 60m (9.68), 4^th 600m (2:05.93), 10^th Ball Throw (16.18m), 14^th Shot Put (3.85m), 14^th Long Jump (2.99m) and 25^th Standing Long Jump (1.15m).
•  Sable B 3^rd Standing Long Jump (1.66m), 9^th Shot Put (4.32m), 12^th 600m (2:24.65), 15^th Long Jump (2.98m), 18^th 60m (10.79) and 19^th in the Ball Throw (12.65m)
•  Josh R was 13^th 60m (10.06), 16^th 600m (2:17.15), 16^th Long Jump (2.98m), 16^th Standing Long Jump (1.42m), 17^th Shot Put (4.07m) and 19^th Ball Throw (13.12m)

Saturday Peewee Overall Results

• Georgia C tied for 4^th, Sable B tied for 6^th, Ella C tied for 8^th, Taryn S and Julia H tied for 16^th, Maya L was 29^th, Karen F and Naomi W tied for 30^th.
• Malcolm B tied for 13^th, Joshua R and Nicholas H tied for 16^th place.

•  Zoe L tied for 28^th place

Sunday Peewee Overall Results

•  Ella C tied for 8^th, Sable B and Karen F tied for 16th, Naomi W placed 23^rd and Taryn S tied for 26^th place.
•  Ty W tied for 10^th, Malcolm B tied for 12^th, Joshua R 15^th, Nolan G and Kai C tied for 19^th place.
