15 Cheetahs participated in the Jack Simpson Open and they did a fantastic job!
Sarah F set a New Meet Record in the 11 year old girls 1000m in 3:48.15 breaking the old record by 6 sec. She also won the 60m 9.34 and the 150m 23.19.
Our other ladies did an excellent job racing in their first meet of the year. Cayleigh W 60m 10.77 7th, 150m 27.88 7th. Amanda Bruno 60m 11.42, 150m 28.36 8th. Schuyler S-G 60m 9.95 6th, 150m 26.17 11th. Sydney V 60m 11.35 7th. Noelle E 60m 14.31 14th, 150m 40.03 11th. Madison C 150m 33.19 9th and in the 1000m she ran a huge Personal Best in a time of 5:00.25 for 4th.
The boys produced some excellent results as well. Josh R won both his 60m and 150m in 10.31 and 25.96. Lachlan S ran a thrilling race in the 1000m to win it in 5:13.96 he was also 14th in the 60m 13.21 and 10th in the 150m 34.16. Andrew M-B had a big day setting a Personal Best in both his 60m (1 sec) 12.58 10th, 150m (2 sec) 33.07 9th. Holt E 60m 11.61 6th, 150m 28.43 4th. Keenan O 60m 12.58 11th, 150m 31.85 7th. Bryce W 60m 60m 12.70 12th, 150m 34.23 11th. Julien S-G 60m 10.33 3rd , 150m 28.01 4th.
In the 4x200m Relay Caleigh, Amanda, Schuyler and Nelissa placed second in 2:35.03. Holt and Keenan partnered with 2 Leduc Athletes to place 2nd in 2:39.79 and our other boys team of Josh, Julien, Lachlan and Wesley placed 3rd overall in 2:52.32.
