I would like to congratulate the twenty JD athletes - Brent B, Nicholas, Charlie, Matthew,Patrick, Sean, Ben,Katie, JiWon, Jasmine, Lauren G, Ellie, Maria, Jessica, Antha, Lauren F, Emily, Delainy, Emma and Mia - who participated in the Alberta Indoor Games and Provincial Relay Championships in Edmonton this past weekend. Congratulations Adrianne Erdman who placed 3rd from in the junior girls, Ellen Chapell who places 6th in the Intermediate girls, and Gareth who placed 1st in the senior men (and continues to go undefeated this fall).

Congratulations to Adrianne Erdman and Gareth Hadfield who medaled at the ASAA cross country high school provincials in Wetaskiwin, AB this weekend.
Adrianne Erdman placed 3rd in the Junior girls division.
Gareth Hadfield capped an undefeated high school season with a 1st in the Senior boys division.

Congratulations to Alex Smith for breaking the Youth Men’s 300mH record at provincials this past weekend. With a time of 40.23s, Alex bettered the old record by 0.2s originally held by former CALTAF athlete, Tony McDougall. The old record was established in 1986, before Alex was even born. Congratulations on a fantastic performance.
