Funding for the many athletic opportunities CALTAF athletes are fortunate enough to participate in comes through various means including through various athlete fundraising activities and through donations from individual supporters. For many athletes the opportunity to participate depend on the generosity of supporters. Fundraising opportunities vary from season to season but may include:

  • bingo volunteering
  • casino volunteering
  • athlete self funding
  • individual donations

KidSport Calgary
Need financial assistance for sport registration fees and equipment? KidSport Society of Calgary continues to support CALTAF athletes. They work closely with families and local sport clubs to help pay registration fees and distribute the necessary equipment that allows kids from low-income backgrounds to get active and engaged in sports. CALTAF Athlete Assistance Fund
The CALTAF Athlete Assistance Fund is a special limited fund set up for deserving athletes who would not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in the sport of Track and Field in Calgary. The fund is supported financially by donations. If you would like to support this fund please contact the CALTAF club office.

CALTAF looks to provide facilities, training programs, competition and leadership to promote personal development and excellence in athletes, coaches and officials for the betterment of track and field in Calgary. Support for this mission comes in many different ways. If you would like to support CALTAF please contact the CALTAF club office.
